Recycling Mobile Phones and Ink Cartridges

The college is now collecting old mobile phones and used ink cartridges for recycling. Please help us raise money through this important environmental venture. It takes 1.5 litres of oil to manufacture on ink cartridge casing. After recycling they are cleaned and refilled with minimla drain on the earth's resources.

Please hunt through boxes, cupboards and drawers for old mobiles and ask friends and family then send them into college with your son!!

When you change an ink cartreidge at work or home please send the old one into college with your son!!

There are collection boxes distributed throughout the college for these items incl library, college reception, ICT suites and outside Mr Rumsby’s office. The eco-group will sort and post the items.

Companies (large or small) can collect these items on our behalf by becoming a ‘supporter’ to the college . Please follow the link below if your company / workplace would be willing to have a collection box to support us. You can set yourself up as a supporter—there is no cost to you. Just an email to the company (Recycool) when the box is half full—they will collect the box and provide you with a replacement box!! Allocate funds to our initiative.
